29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a. On or about July 30, 2021, at the non-food warehouse area. An operational emergency eye wash station was not available for immediate emergency use since it was obstructed with various large items such as a 55-gallon plastic drum, an out of service Yale battery lift truck, office chair, cardboard box, small vacuum cleaner on a wheels cart, and a commercial yellow mop bucket and wringer. NOTE Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: a. On or about July 30, 2021, at the non-food warehouse area, two electrical service panels were not readily accessible. The service panels were blocked with various large items such as a 55-gallon plastic drum, an out of service Yale battery lift truck, office chair, cardboard box, small vacuum cleaner on a wheels cart, and a commercial yellow mop bucket and wringer. NOTE 1: The Defense Commissary Agency- Ft. Buchanan was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1524271, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on May, 25, 2021 with respect to a workplace located at 689 North Terminal Road, Fort Buchanan, PR 00934 . NOTE 2: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
