29 CFR  1910.106(b)(2)(viii)(f):  Filling and emptying connections which are made and broken were not  located outside of buildings at a location free from any source of ignition and not less than 5 feet away from any building opening:   a)  The employer directs employees to cut out catalytic converters with a Sawzall from beneath cars that are on the drain rack approximately 6 feet from grade.  The Sawzall produces sparks that fall onto the gasoline liquids recycling tank creating a fire and explosion hazard.      Violation occurred on or about August 5, 2021

29 CFR  1910.138(a):   The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes:  At the Workplace, 364 West Dewey Ave, Wharton, NJ  a) The employer failed to  select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection for the operation of draining gasoline from junk vehicles in  the drain rack area into the waste gasoline tank resevoir.   The employees were provided with and used 65% polyester and 35% cotton cloth gloves, which does not protect the employees from dermatitis  absorption of gasoline and its toxic components including benzene that is a carcinogen.    b)  The employer failed to  select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection for the operation of draining radiator fluid that contains ethylene glycol,   from junk vehicles in  the drain rack area into the waste anti-freeze  resevoir.   The employees were provided with and used 65% polyester and 35% cotton cloth gloves, which does not protect the employees from possible dermatitis and skin sensitization.  Violation occurred on or about August 5, 2021

Both bailers have doors that are stuck in the up position due to denting, damage and corrosion, and the interlock device is disabled.
