29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At a worksite located at 20213 Whitfield Road Sedalia, Missouri. Employees were exposed to point of operation or other serious injuries in the production services department when operating the snug wrapper, known to the company as the wrapping machine. Employees were able to bypass the fabricated guard without de-energizing the equipment.
