E.E. Austin & Son, Inc., 5343 Station Road, Erie, PA 16563, on or about August 5, 2021 and times prior thereto/South Deck Area: Employees were exposed to a fall height of at least 6-feet while walking and working in the deck area. The wire rope guardrail systems was not tall enough in that the top rail was positioned between 33-inches and 35-inches above the walking/working surface.

The pressure gauge indicator for the fire extinguisher was in the recharge position. B.) E.E. Austin & Son, Inc., 5343 Station Road, Erie, PA 16563, on or about August 5, 2021 and times prior thereto: Employees were provided with, and permitted to use, a Kidde ABC portable multi-purpose dry chemical fire extinguisher (S/N: M-183221). The fire extinguisher received its last annual maintenance in February 2020. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
