29 CFR 1915.152(a):The employer did not provide each affected employee with, or ensure that each employee use, the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the eyes, face, head, extremities, torso, and respiratory system, including protective clothing, protective barriers, personal fall protection equipment, and life saving equipment, meeting the applicable provisions of Subpart I, wherever employees were exposed to work activity hazards that required the use of PPE, in that: (a) on 8/10/2021 a shipyard worker was observed working on the bow of a boat while exposed to a fall of approximately 11 feet without being protected by rails, nets, or personal fall protection equipment.
