29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with framing operations on a new commercial building where the ground to the bottom of the top plate is greater than 6ft. The most recent occurrence of this was evident during the inspection of the job site located at the North West Corner of 120th and Military, Omaha, NE 68105 - The employer had employees standing on the top plates of the framing without using any fall protection. Larry Peterson Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1245381, citation number 2, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on 10-24-2017, with respect to a workplace located at 7218 N. 140th Ave Bennington, NE .
