29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(iii): The safety monitor was not within visual sighting distance of the employees being monitored: a) North side of building, central entry way, northwest corner of canopy, on or about 8-25-21: Employees were working at the immediate edge of a roof canopy while the Safety Monitor was positioned in an area where a parapet wall obstructed his view of the employees, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 11 feet 11 inches. b) North side of building, central entry way, northeast corner of canopy, on or about 8-25-21: Employees were working at the immediate edge of a roof canopy while the Safety Monitor was positioned in an area where a parapet wall obstructed his view of the employees, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 11 feet 5 inches.
