29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that the portable ladders used to access the upper landing surface extended at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder is used to gain access; a) New home construction located at 325 Northridge Dr. Lot 19 Dallas GA: On or about September 1, 2021, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards in that the employer failed to ensure that employees were properly positioning the ladder in a manner that would prevent movement or shifting during ascending and descending when the ladder was not extended 3 feet above the 2nd level landing.
