29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a) New residential construction located on Lot# 13, Top plate: On or about 06/12/2024, the employer exposed two employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in installing trusses and framing activities operating these tools at 120 PSI.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) New residential construction located on Lot# 13, Top plate: On or about 06/12/2024, the employer exposed an employee to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet, 3-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided while employees were engaged in framing activities. Elias Antonio Cano Quijada was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1552454, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/01/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 325 Northridge Dr. Lot 19, Dallas GA. 30132.
