29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means:   a) On or about September 21, 2021, employees were not protected against contact with energized overhead power lines while performing framing work. The overhead power lines consisted of secondary lines having a voltage rating of 120/240 Volts.   No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On September 21, 2021, employees engaged in framing activity were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately 9.5 feet above the ground.  Araujo Construction Corp., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1338497, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 17, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 3504 North Bell Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60618.  Araujo Construction Corp., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1276134, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 8, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Woodland Estates @ IL Rt. 53 at Woodland, Addison, Illinois 60101.  Araujo Construction Corp., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1189546, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 22, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 North Bell Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60622.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
