29 CFR 1926.454(a):The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. On or about September 21, 2021, and at times prior thereto, an employee was performing taping and floating operations from an elevated Genie 1930 scissor lift up to approximately 16 feet without being trained on the lift, exposing the employee to a fall hazard.
