29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying exist) a) Hyatt House at 17254 Five Points Square Lewes, DE 19958: On or about September 10, 2021, the employer failed to ensure a competent person made frequent and regular inspections of the roofing area to prevent employees and subcontractors from accessing the area approximately 41 foot above grade. Furthermore, the employer did not take steps to prevent the use of the access to the roof exposing employees and subcontractors to associated fall hazards.
