29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):  Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  a) At the jobsite, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10-feet 7-inches when he used an aluminum extension ladder that was not set 3-feet above the roof landing.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  a) At the jobsite, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 25-feet and greater when he worked on the roof of a house without using fall protection.  Gerardo Chavez Gonzalez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1542771, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 23, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4627 Seabourne Landing Drive, Rosenberg, Texas.
