29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Electro-Mechanical Products, Inc. at 897 Tabor St. Lakewood, CO 80401. On or before 10/6/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that the Amada To-50EC horizontal bandsaw had 2.5 inches of the unused portion of the blade exposed. This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
