29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. a. At the above referenced inspection site, on or about October 13, 2021, the employer exposed the employees to injuries from corrosive hazards in that an eye wash station suitable for flushing of the eyes was not provided while employees serviced/charged the batteries for powered industrial trucks.
