29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. On or about October 19, 2021, during a roof replacement of a residential house located at 6510 Snow Rd, Parma, OH 44129: the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof were protected from a fall of approximately 10.6 feet by utilizing a personal fall arrest system or any other form of fall protection system.
