29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were  employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b)   The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards.  On or about October 25, 2021 at the job site located at 6621 Belmont Drive,  Shawnee, Kansas, employees engaged in framing activities at a residential construction were exposed to a fall of approximately 20 feet from the structure being framed to the ground below.  The employees were not provided with fall protection.  Dereck Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1387567, citation number 1,  item number 2  and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 23910 W 97th Terrace Lenexa, KS 66227.  Dereck Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1522871, citation number 2,  item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 18100 Westgate Bucyrus, KS 66013.
