29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9):The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: (a) Fleet Shop: On November 2, 2021 and times prior, employees operated a Black and Decker 8 inch pedestal abrasive wheel grinder (model #1788, serial #234598) that was not equipped with a tongue guard that had a maximum opening of 3/8 of an inch between the grinding wheel and the peripheral safety guard.
