29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Friendship Lodge: North Perry Street, JOHNSTOWN, New York: On or about November 03, 2021, employees conducting framing operations on a residential building were not utilizing fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11 feet. QUALITY FRAMING CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501 (b)(01), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1305791, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-13-2018, with respect to a workplace located at 201 Maplewood Ave. Ithaca, NY.
