This condition exposed the employees to trip hazards.

29 CFR 1910.305(j)(4)(v): The disconnecting means were not readily accessible: a) On or before November 5, 2021, and at times prior, two disconnecting means were not readily accessible to the employees. The disconnecting means were used to power a hydraulic compactor and a hydraulic ramp and were blocked by pallets and retail products. This condition exposed the employees to serious hazards in the event of an emergency.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) On or before November 5, 2021, and at times prior, exit routes were blocked by pallets, crates, and merchandise at the backroom area. Employees could not readily access the exit routes leading to the exit door as the pathways were not clear nor direct. This condition exposed the employees to serious hazards in the event of an emergency. King Soopers was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37 (a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1320577, citation number 01, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on July 23, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 8126 S Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton, CO 80128. King Soopers was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37 (a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1329677, citation number 01, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on October 2, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1545 S Kipling Pkwy, Lakewood, CO 80232.
