29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about November 4, 2021, and at times prior thereto, employees performing framing activities were not provided fall protection exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately twelve (12) feet to the ground below. JJ Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1275256, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2018, with a final abatement date of November 19, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1301 Chisholm Trail, Euless, Texas 76039.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. On or about November 4, 2021, and at times prior thereto, employees performing framing activities were not provided fall protection. The employer did not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training where part of the job is to be exposed to fall hazards at heights over 6 feet to the ground below. JJ Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475653, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 1, 2020, with a final abatement date of August 27, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 7518 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
