29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a.) JTM Foods, LLC; Crispy Line - On or about 11/10/21 and at times prior thereto, the expanded metal guard on the auger was not adequately secured to the frame which allowed it to be easily by-passed. An injury occurred while the equipment was being cleaned when an employee lifted the guard and put his finger/hands into the rotating auger area. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

JTM Foods, LLC; Crispy Line - On or about 11/10/21 and at times prior thereto, there was not an emergency stop button on the platform where the auger was located. An injury occurred when an employee reached in to the auger area while cleaning. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
