29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3):29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. a.) Carpenter Latrobe Specialty Metals - Sandy Creek dba Carpenter Technologies - On or about 11/23/21, and at times prior thereto, coolant and water were leaking from chip bins onto the floor in front of the disconnect for Polisher #12. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
