29 CFR  1926.760(a)(1):  Except as provided by paragraph (a)(3) of this section, each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level shall be protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems.  On or about December 2, 2021 at a construction site located at 4700 Co Rd DD in Wrightstown, Wisconsin, employees were exposed to fall hazards eighteen feet above surface level while installing metal roof decking without utilizing fall protection equipment during construction of a pole building.  The J & W Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.761(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1407000, citation number 01, item number 01b and was affirmed as a final order on October 15, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at Camber Ct and Packerland Dr.,  Hobart, WI  54115.
