29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed. Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route: a. On or about November 29, 2021, at the rear of the store, the exit route, from the emergency exit door, through the delivery/receiving area, to the exit discharge area, was cluttered with boxes, furniture, and other protruding objects. The cluttering objects were projecting into the exit route, reducing its width in a way that it was less than the required minimum of 28 inches. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
