29 CFR  1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, in a readily accessible way, subjecting the employees to injuries.  a. On or about December 1, 2021, at the store car repair shop, one 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible. Physical access to the extinguisher was hampered by multiple 55-gallon drums, among other items, stored in the floor below and in front.  b. On or about December 1, 2021, at the store entrance, next to the soda and water fridge,  one 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was placed loose on the floor.  c. On or about December 1, 2021, at the store back room  warehouse, next to the emergency exit, one 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible. Physical access to the extinguisher was hampered by multiple items, such as boxes and storage bins, stored in the floor below and around.  NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer within 24 hours of the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.  a. On or about December 1, 2021, at the store back room warehouse, three (3) electrical service panels in the area were not readily accessible. Access to the electrical service panel was blocked with a forklift, a car engine, boxes and materials stored in the floor in front.
