29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s). a) Machine Shop: On or about December 9, 2021 and at times prior, employees were exposed to laceration hazards, in that the employer had not installed point of operation guarding on the "Bridgeport" drill press used by employees while manufacturing specialized production parts. b) Machine Shop: On or about December 9, 2021 and at times prior, employees were exposed to laceration hazards, in that the employer had not installed point of operation guarding on the "Walker Turner" 3 head drill press used by employees while manufacturing specialized production parts. c) Machine Shop: On or about December 9, 2021 and at times prior, employees were exposed to laceration hazards, in that the employer had not installed point of operation guarding on the "Delta" 4 head drill press used by employees while manufacturing specialized production parts.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area. a) Machine Shop: On or about December 9, 2021 and at times prior, the employer did not provide hazardous communications training to employees who handled chemicals including, but not limited to, "Castrol" Hysol MB 50 Semi-Synthetic Coolant , Super Agitene 141 parts cleaner, and WD-40 lubricant.
