29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) David Estuardo Ramirez, at a jobsite located at Lot 298 at Ellington Village, Granville, Ohio 43023: On and/or preceding December 14, 2021, the employer failed to ensure employees wore safety glasses while utilizing power tools that presented struck-by hazards to the eyes and face. Employees were using pneumatic nail guns while framing a house. The employees were not utilizing eye protection, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards to the eyes.  b) David Estuardo Ramirez, at a jobsite located at Lot 298 at Ellington Village, Granville, Ohio 43023: On and/or preceding December 14, 2021, the employer failed to ensure employees wore safety glasses while utilizing power tools that presented struck-by hazards to the eyes and face. Employees were circular saws while framing a house. The employees were not utilizing eye protection, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards to the eyes.

Employees used an circular saw where the plug of the cord had separated from the jacket of the cord, thereby exposing employees to a 122 volt electrical contact hazard.

Employee was working from the top plate of the first story walls, thereby exposing the employee to a fall hazard of 11 feet 3 inches.
