29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a) On or about January 7, 2022, employees removing a temporary air compressor from service, were not provided with an adequate procedure for controlling hazardous energy. The procedure did not identify a means to relieve stored pneumatic energy, and a method to identify if stored energy has been relieved, exposing employees to a struck-by hazards.
