29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Examination. Electric equipment was not free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. (a) Fertilizer Tree Spike production area at QC, LLC, 5566 Nash Road: On or about 12/15/2021, the employer did not examine electrical equipment and ensure it was free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause serious physical harm to employees. A dust collector motor had damage to the shroud that would allow employees to access the electrical operating components.
