OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were not protected from the hazards of being struck by falling material as a result of obstructions in the crane's path of travel. (a) Machine Shop: On December 16, 2021 and times prior, employees work in proximity to crane operations that traveled over a shelf housing a motor that did not allow for clearance between the electrical cord housing of the crane and the obstruction.
