29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(2)(i):Hepatitis B vaccination shall be made available after the employee has received the training required in paragraph (g)(2)(vii)(I) and within 10 working days of initial assignment to all employees who have occupational exposure unless the employee has previously received the complete hepatitis B vaccination series, antibody testing has revealed that the employee is immune, or the vaccine is contraindicated for medical reasons. a) Norwood Inn & Suites Columbus, at a jobsite located at 1303 Grainville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43229, On and/or preceding January 13, 2022, employees had an occupational exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials while cleaning a guestroom. 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met. a) Norwood Inn & Suites Columbus, at a jobsite located at 1303 Grainville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43229, On and/or preceding January 13, 2022, the employer did not implement and maintain the written hazard communication program. The written program in place was not updated to reflect the change from MSDS to SDS and other important changes to the regulation, safety data sheets did not reflect hazardous chemicals used in the facility, and employee training had not been accomplished.
