29 CFR  1910.132(d)(1)(i):When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazards present:  (a)  On or about January 10, 2022, the employer failed to provide  heat resistant protective garments (leggings/heat resistant pants) to protect melting employees from below-the-waist burn hazards when working with or around molten steel. This exposed employees in the melting department to burn hazards.
