29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about January 21, 2022, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure the Bay 8 Press Brake Dump Table Backstop was guarded. Employees were exposed to crush-by and/or struck-by hazards when walking in between the Dump Table and Backstop.
