1926.21(b)(2)  The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.  The AVD is amended to read: a. Rogers and Sons, Inc., at 14802 N. Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80023: "On or before February 1, 2022, the exposing employer, did not protect its employees from slips and trip hazards. On February 1, 2022 three workers were directed to access the roof and on one employee slipped on ice and was injured. The employer failed to detect and prevent changing work conditions to protect employees. This condition exposed employees to broken bones and head injuries."
