29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: a) 10 inch Setco Bench Grinder: On or about February 1, 2022 and times prior, employees used an Setco 10" bench grinder to smooth metal edges. The work rest on the left side was not adequately adjusted resulting in a 1/2inch opening between the abrasive wheel and the work rest.

29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) 10 inch Setco Bench Grinder: On or about February 1, 2022 and times prior, an employee used a Setco 10 inch abrasive bench grinder to smooth edges. The grinder did not have the adjustable tongue guard on the left side adequately adjusted resulting in a 1/2 inch opening between the abrasive wheel and the top of the grinder.
