29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator is fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter. FCI Mendota: The employer did not provide annual fit test to all Correctional Officers who are required to wear respirators. The employer required employees to wear 3M Model 1860 elastomeric half mask respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while working in the COVID-19 isolation areas and performing their normal job duties (Food, medical routes, recreation) where air borne droplets were expected near suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 inmates.
