29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Lot # 1 Fairway Ln., East Longmeadow, MA: On or about March 7, 2022, two employees were observed sheathing the second story of this residence more than 18 feet above the ground below and they were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. b) Lot # 1 Fairway Ln., East Longmeadow, MA: On or about March 7, 2022, two employees were observed framing the first floor of this residence near unprotected window openings more than 10 feet above the ground below and they were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR1903.19(d) (1).

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: Lot #1 Fairway Ln., East Longmeadow, MA: On or about March 7, 2022, 2 employees were observed using a stairway with 16 risers to reach their 2nd floor work location that was not equipped with at least one handrail. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
