29 CFR  1910.107(d)(2): All spraying areas were not provided with mechanical ventilation adequate to remove flammable vapors, mists, or powders to a safe location and to confine and control combustible residues so that life is not endangered:   (a) Building 1, Truck Body Powder Coat Booth 1 - The dust collection system, located inside the building on top of Booth 1, did not remove the powder coating overspray (a Class II combustible dust) to a safe location and confine and control the combustible residue so as not to endanger life because the dust collector did not have deflagration protection, exposing employees to the hazard of an explosion, on or about January 25, 2022.  (b) Building 1, Truck Body Powder Coat Booth 2 - The dust collection system, located inside the building to the right of the front of Booth 2,  did not remove the powder coating overspray (a Class II combustible dust) to a safe location and confine and control the combustible residue so as not to endanger life because the dust collector did not have deflagration protection, exposing employees to the hazard of an explosion, on or about January 25, 2022.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Employees went underneath each truck body, suspended by alloy steel chains, to spray the body's underside, exposing employees to a struck-by hazard while working under the suspended load, on or about March 8, 2022.
