29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: (a) Ready Foods, Inc. at 5905 East 42nd Avenue in Denver, CO 80216: On or about May 15, 2022, and at times prior, employees were exposed to trip hazards in an egress route from the freezer into the cooking area. A water barrier was adhered to the ground outside of the exit door. This exposed employees to safety hazards related to impeding their ability to exit the building in an emergency.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Ready Foods, Inc. at 5905 East 42nd Avenue in Denver, CO 80216: On or about May 15, 2022, and at times prior, employees in the cooking area were exposed to pinch points created by belts and pulleys on the Cryovac conveyor belt. This exposed employees to amputation hazards. (b) Ready Foods, Inc. at 5905 East 42nd Avenue in Denver, CO 80216: On or about May 15, 2022, and at times prior, employees in the packing area were exposed to pinch points created by the belt and pulley on the conveyor belt under the 3M AccuGlide Taping Head. This exposed employees to amputation hazards.
