29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: a. On or about March 21, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, the stairway to the second floor was not provided with handrails, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards of eleven (11) feet five (5) inches.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about March 21, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry operations, twenty (20) feet eight (8) inches above the ground were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. Ryehill Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1498543, citation number 2 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 12, 2021 with respect to a workplace located at 5701 S. McVicker Ave., Chicago, IL 60638. Ryehill Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1396059, citation number 1 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 8, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 5801 S. Newcastle Ave., Chicago, IL 60638.
