29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: On or about March 24, 2022 employees at Odyssey Machine Company, LTD within the facility located at 26675 Eckel Rd. Perrysburg OH 43551 were exposed to struck by hazards in that the employer did not ensure employees were protected from head injuries while working at the spring stretching station. Employees were exposed to being struck-by falling springs which become displaced from the upper support. Odyssey Machine Company, LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.135(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1549499, citation number one, item number one and was affirmed as a final order on February 8, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 26675 Eckel Rd. Perrysburg OH 43551 .

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about March 24, 2022 employees at Odyssey Machine Company, LTD within the facility located at 26675 Eckel Rd. Perrysburg OH 43551 that worked at the spring stretching station were exposed to crushing and laceration hazards to the fingers/hand. Pinch points created between the stationary holding bars located at the sides of the frame and the moving lower crossbar were not guarded. Odyssey Machine Company, LTD was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1549499, citation number one, item number one and was affirmed as a final order on February 8, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 26675 Eckel Rd. Perrysburg OH 43551 .
