29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): The employer did not ensure that hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired: Backroom Receiving Dock: On or about March 30, 2022, one of the dock plates in this area was being used with a broken dock leveler, exposing employees to falls and caught between hazards, by stepping across a gap of approximately 18 inches wide and approximately six feet long into trailers that were approximately 48 inches above the ground.
