On March 26, 2022 an employee was injured while adjusting a pallet of product without first rendering the machine inoperable. This condition exposed employees head injuries, amputations and broken bones.

Employees operated and maintained the Westfalia Shift Unit conveyor without guards to prevent injury.  An employee was injured while adjusting a pallet of product. This condition exposed employees to lacerations and amputation hazards.
