29 CFR  1910.134(h)(2)(i):Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or  were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve:  (a) On or before April 4, 2022, the employer did not ensure that respirators at their facility were stored appropriately so that the respirators remain clean in order to keep the respirator from being damaged or contaminated. A half-face respirator was observed to be stored on top of a tool-box in the woodworking shop (Suite 9).  Another half-face respirator was hung on the wall outside of the break room (not in a bag). Both respirators were covered in dust and grime. One of the welder's half face respirators was dirty and saturated.
