29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(i)(B):For electric equipment operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, and likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized, the width of the working space in front of electrical equipment was less than the width of the equipment or 762 mm (30 inches), whichever was greater On or about April 07, 2022: the employer did not ensure that the width of working space in front of electrical equipment was greater than 30 inches. Electrical boxes were mounted within 17 inches of a steel beam in the fabrication area exposing employees to electrical hazards in the following instances: a) The front area of a Siemens 480V electrical box used to power an exhaust fan was blocked by a structural steel beam. The electrical box was mounted within 17 inches of steel beam. b) The front area of a Square D 480V electrical box used to power an exhaust fan was blocked by a structural steel beam. The electrical box was mounted within 17 inches of steel beam.
