29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall: be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level; a. Located at 3282 Hairst Drive in Reynoldsburg, Ohio: On or about April 12, 2022, an employee was performing roofing work from a single story roof with the use of personal fall arrest equipment. The employer did not ensure that the rope lifeline was rigged to limit the free fall to prevent the employee from contacting the ground approximately eleven feet below.
