29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1):Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: Employees working at 11594 S. Sarda Dr. Olathe, KS. were exposed to electrical shock. Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to electrical hazards in that the extension cord providing 110 VAC power to the worm drive circular saw was significantly damaged. The insulation had pulled away from the plug, exposing the conductors.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At the jobsite located at 11594 S. Sarda Dr. Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities, performing leading edge work, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the leading edge to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized. M.R. Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1560084, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 12-23-21, with respect to a workplace located at 17729 Eby St. Overland Park, KS. M.R.
