29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On or about April 14, 2022, during the installation of roofing material at the job site located at Claythorne Drive, Shaker Heights, OH 44122; the employer failed to ensure employees working on the roof of a single family home were protected from eye injures from impact, and/or flying objects while utilizing pneumatic nail guns. MGE Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475112, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 238 West Smith Road, Medina, OH 44256.

MGE Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475112, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on November 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 238 West Smith Road, Medina, OH 44256.
