29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: At a worksite located at 509 SE Carter Rd, Lee's Summit 64802: Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. Employees were permitted to operate pneumatic nail guns at 70 to 120 psi without wearing impact-resistant eye protection while framing a residential building. The nail gun was last used on April 6, 2022, and at times prior to.
